Could Real Madrid Loan Out Eden Hazard to Chelsea?
Real Madrid winger, Eden Hazard, may be loaned out by the club in the summer, and it may mean making a return to Chelsea.
After leaving the Blues to join Real Madrid for £100 million in 2019, Hazard’s star lost its lustre as he has since been plagued by injuries. This season, he has only played 877 minutes and started in nine La Liga matches.
Now, according to reports, the Spanish club are willing to loan out the 31-year-old Belgian international this summer so that he can rediscover his form, thereby boosting his value should they decide to sell him next year.
As such, Los Blancos may look to send Hazard – who is said to be harbouring a desire to return to the English outfit – back to Stamford Bridge. For the Blues, they might be able to re-attain their former player’s services without having to pay a transfer fee.
Once the English club’s ownership battle is completed, they may shift their focus to bringing back Hazard in the summer.
